History

Brook Green was formed in 2009 by Steve Williams and Alex Lushpay, the aim was to offer marketing and distribution services to managers of alternative investment funds in Europe. Since then the business has grown to encompass a wider range of services for the fund management industry from business development to distribution administration.

Since its inception Brook Green has worked with clients totalling over USD 200 bln in assets under management and been nominated for numerous industry awards in the field. We remain committed to offering the best possible quality of service to our clients, which is based on research and industry knowledge as well as logical target driven approach.

Alex Lushpay

Alex has over 12 years’ global experience specializing in general management, financial sales and research. In addition to his overall leadership he is also responsible for global marketing, compliance and client engagement; and specializes in working with the investor base in the Channel Islands and the French speaking part of Switzerland. His deep research specialization means that he still takes hands-on ownership for developing and producing quantitative reports on the EU fund marketplace for select clients.

James has more than 10 year’s experience working in investment Banking, marketing to UK IFA’s and in retail banking with HSBC, he is responsible for managing development of new relationships with investors on a daily basis, as an investment manager James ran a £140 mln. portfolio of diversified assets.

Josh is a client relationship and business development specialist with 12 years’ client facing and operational experience in the fund management industry. He has had experience in developing new regions and been involved with the launches of several new products including offshore, UCITS and AIFMD structures. Josh previously worked with Aurum Funds and was responsible for business development in various locations globally and advising existing clients on their investments. Prior to this he was employed at Master Capital, a fund of equity funds, where he managed both the client relations and operations, in addition to assisting the fund manager with investment analysis and decisions.

Matt has been involved in the financial services sector for the past 16 years, working for a series of large financial institutions including HBOS, where he was an Associate Director. Since leaving banking Matt has worked predominantly in the IFA Distribution space, in deal origination, deal structuring and sales and marketing for several tax efficient boutiques, including Enterprise Investment Partners where Matt was a Partner until June 2016.
